Title: BLIND CAP

Synopsis: Blind-cap work as a sense magnifier to provide blind persons an alternative way to move and travel around their environments by detecting the nearby obstacles using the help of ultrasonic waves and notify them with buzzer sound or vibration. It consists of cap provided with ultrasonic sensors, micro-vibration motors and buzzer that activate when object are at certain distances to warn the user. Two ranges of distances are established, the smallest goes from 10 to 40 centimeters and the larger goes from 40 to 80 centimeters. When the ultrasonic sensor detects obstacle the device will notify the user through vibrations or sound beeps. The intensity of vibration and rate of beeping increases with decrease in distance and this is a fully automated device. Blind-cap consists of ultrasonic sensor, micro-vibration motors and buzzer. It also has all the necessary components to assemble the circuit such as jumpers, arduino board, red LEDs and switches. This project use arduino software to run the code and proteus software to build schematic diagram of the circuit. The goal of this project is that the blind persons can stop using the cane that limits their mobility and makes them depend on a totally disintegrated object. Blind-cap could be an accessory to facilitate and improve their daily lifestyle.
