Synopsis: Renewable energy sources have been of great interest to electricity producers around the world. PV in particular has been a great source of interest in tropical countries which receives huge amount of sunlight such as in Malaysia. However, the high temperature on the solar panel could result in reduced efficiency. In order to mitigate the temperature effect and to enhance solar panel efficiency, an automated cooling system is developed. Analysis and comparative investigation will be carried out to determine the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
